Ok started my day with a work out in the hotel gym then off to the Breakers (The Vanderbilt Mansion aka summer cottage) a few pics outside.

the kitchen it's very kewl and huge. The Butlers pantry with all the china and silver vault was the last stop no pic bummer...
Then we had a early dinner @ the Mooring a very yummy restaurant.
our waiter Joe he was quite good and very friendly.
ahi tuna nicoise very yummy.
Dessert New York cheese cake with Raspberry mint cream very good and then back to the hotel for a soak in the hot tub & Margaritas and that was my first day in Newport looking forward to tomorrow.the view from our table it's just amazing
and the sun has set on a really great day.
Day 2 in Newport RI.
Ok started my day off with a work out in hotel gym now back in my room having some coffee and then a shower we are planning on going down to the wharf area today should be fun and sneak in a bit of shopping most likely window shopping but still fun.
Ok started off with a drive down the Ocean drive its just beautiful the water the Mansions its just amazing.

From 1824 to 1950 Fort Adams housed generations of our soldiers,
entrance to Fort Adams it was closed so we couldn't go inside but still it's a kewl place.
they had theas whales all over town all painted differently Ok a bite to eat down on the water front
Courtney our waitress she was very sweet
as it was cold out i had chili & some hot tea both very good then walked around the water front shops then back to the hotel for a rest then get ready to head for Washington DC in the morning,
